Toller Sieg letzte Nacht am Samstag gegen Vancouver wird dann die Divisonspitze zurück geholt.

sicher eine gute verstärkung in hinsicht auf die playoffs.

Tanguay spielte eine entscheidende Rolle beim Ausgang dieses Spieles: Zwei tolle Vorarbeiten zum 1:2 und 2:2 und der zwischenzeitliche Führungstreffer zum 3:2. In der OT sahs er dann wegen eines dummen Fouls auf der Strafbank und in diesem PP erziehlten die Hawks den Siegtreffer. Dumm gelaufen. :

Verletztenlage laut Flames HP:

Iginla back skating: Jarome Iginla hit the ice Thursday for the first time since his play was derailed by a knee injury (sprained medial collateral ligament) January 4th. Although the Flames’ captain emerged from the dressing room, clutching a bag of ice, he was no longer wearing a knee brace. In fact, Iginla only has to wear the brace when skating and working out now.

According to Iginla, his knee’s not 100 per cent, but it feels as good as he hoped it would by this stage in his recovery. The doctors are playing it by ear and taking it day-to-day at this point.

“It felt good and is definitely improving and it just feels good to be on the ice again,” noted Iginla. “I hope I don’t have to miss too many more games.”

Iginla, who’s been out three weeks, will stay in Calgary, while the Flames hit the road for games on Friday and Sunday against Minnesota and Chicago.

Chuck Kobasew was also back skating with the team and will make the trip to Minnesota today. No guarantee on his return Friday night, but coaches and doctors will keep an eye on the forward and decide prior to the game.

Naja, wenigstens läuft bei der Genesung alles nach Plan, wird aber ganz schön gepokert mit seiner Ausfallzeit finde ich. :

"I'm hoping right after, but that would be optimistic," Iginla said Thursday. "The timeline is a month, but right after the all-star break is three weeks and that's what I'm hoping for."

Iginla had slightly injured his MCL once before during his career and only missed one game. Doctors told him the injury was more severe this time.

"They tell you it's worse and you believe them, you just don't like to say `oh, it's going to be a month,'" Iginla said.

ach ja das wollte ich dich ja noch fragen turco, wo hastn diese info her? weil auf der flames hp steht day to day und noch der bericht das er vll wieder am start ist nach dem all star weekend.

Solange Kipper die Bude sauber hält wie in Edmonton heute Nacht, gehts auch ohne Iggy  
Die Mannschaft kompensiert sein Fehlen wirklich gut. Aber ich hoffe trotzdem das er schnell wieder fit ist.
