Auch diese Verlängerung ist prima und war zu erwarten.Naja ist zwar bissl viel was Alex nun bekommt aber denke mal ist auch berechtigt nach den letzten beiden Jahren

Auf der Seite der Denver Post zum Beispiel! (denverpost.com) Und letztes Jahr verdiente er 1,5 Mio$, also doch eine erhebliche Steigerung! Meines Erachtens aber auch verdient!

Sehr wichtig,dass tanguay bleibt,wobei ein 1-Jahresvertrag doch etwas überraschend ist.Es ist auch nicht der gleiche Fall wie bei Ribeiro,da man Tanguay doch eine schöne Gehaltssteigrung gegeben hat.

so seh ichs auch.
aber es ist schön und v.a. gut, dass er bleibt. jetzt muss noch hejduck bleiben und die torgefährlichste reihe (egal ob forsberg oder sakic) ist wieder zusammen.
die 4,25 mio $ sind meines erachtens auch gerechtfertigt. er hat sich von jahr zu jahr gebessert.

The Colorado Avalanche has signed left wing Alex Tanguay to a one-year contract. Per team policy, financial details were not disclosed.
“Alex played very well for us last season and we expect him to continue to be one of the top young players in the game,” said Colorado Avalanche President & General Manager Pierre Lacroix. “Despite being injured in March when at that time he was leading our Club in scoring, he still finished the season with career numbers and was one of the top scorers in the National Hockey League.”

Tanguay, 24, was selected 12th overall in the 1998 Entry Draft, one of four picks the Avalanche had in the first round that year. In 2003-04, he tallied 25 goals and a career-high 54 assists for 79 points (also a career-best) adding 42 penalty minutes and a team-leading +30 rating in 69 games played, finishing the season second on the Avalanche in scoring.

Between October 16 and November 2 of last season, the six-foot, one-inch, 190-pound native of Ste-Justine, Quebec recorded a nine-game point streak (5g/11a) and reeled off an eight-game streak from January 8 â€" 20. Tanguay concluded the 2003-04 campaign tied for fifth in the NHL for plus/minus, tied for ninth overall in scoring, fourth in assists, and fourth in shooting percentage (21.4).

Selected to play in his first NHL All-Star Game this past February, Tanguay netted his 100th career NHL goal on January 21 at Florida, where he recorded his second career hat trick, and registered his 200th assist and 300th point six nights later against Edmonton. He tallied the second four-point (1g/3a) night of his career versus Columbus on February 28, and enjoyed the second five-point effort of his career against Vancouver on March 3, matching his career-high originally established on January 18, 2001, also against Vancouver.
